Features

Explore all features of our QR code generator including customization, colors, logos, styles and high-quality downloads.

Built for real-world scanning

The generator validates that the content you enter can actually be encoded before rendering a code, and it keeps the quiet zone intact when you change colours. The result is a code that scans the first time rather than one that fails at the till or on a poster.

Customisation

Custom colours with an automatic contrast check, multiple dot styles, several eye frame styles, centre logo upload with automatic sizing, and an error-correction level that you control.

Formats and resolution

Export SVG for unlimited scaling, or PNG up to 2560 pixels. Transparent backgrounds are available so a code can sit on a photo or a coloured panel without a white box around it.

Privacy by design

Nothing you enter leaves your device. The QR code is encoded locally, so URLs, WiFi passwords and contact details are never transmitted to or stored on a server.

Error correction explained

QR codes carry built-in redundancy described as four levels: roughly 7%, 15%, 25% and 30% recovery. A higher level makes the pattern denser but allows the code to be read even when part of it is damaged, scuffed or covered by a logo.,For a clean screen display, the default level is plenty. For anything printed that will be handled, exposed to wear, or carrying a logo, raise the level to the maximum your content length still allows.

Colour and contrast

Scanners need a strong difference between dark modules and light background. The generator keeps the quiet zone intact and warns you when a colour combination is too low contrast, because a beautiful code that does not scan is worse than a plain one that does.

  4. Download a print-ready SVG or a high-resolution PNG.

Frequently asked questions

Is QRCodegener free to use?

Yes. Every tool is free with no account, no watermark, no usage cap and no hidden upgrade. Unlimited generation and high-resolution downloads are included.

Do the QR codes expire?

No. The codes are static, so the destination is built into the graphic itself. They keep working indefinitely as long as the target URL or content remains valid.

What formats can I download?

SVG for unlimited scaling and print, and PNG up to 2K resolution for screens and social. Transparent backgrounds are supported.

Is my data sent to a server?

No. Encoding happens in your browser, so URLs, WiFi passwords and contact details never leave your device.

Can I put a logo inside a QR code?

Yes. Place a logo in the centre and raise the error-correction level so the code still scans if part of the centre is covered.
