Get in touch

We read every message. If you have found a bug, need a feature, or have a question about a specific QR code type, send it to support@qrcodegener.org and include the URL of the page you were on plus what you expected to happen.

What to include in a bug report

Your device and browser, the QR code type you were using, the content you entered without any private data, and a screenshot of the issue. That is usually enough to reproduce and fix the problem quickly.

Response times

We aim to reply within two business days. Feature requests are reviewed weekly and prioritised by how many people ask for them.

Feature requests

We read every request and prioritise by how many people ask for the same thing. If you want a QR code type that is not listed yet, describe the use case rather than the format — that helps us work out the correct payload to generate.,You can also report a scanning problem with a code you created with us. Send the content you encoded with any private data removed, and we can tell you whether the issue is in the code, the design, or the destination.

How to get started

  1. Choose the QR code type that matches the content you want to share.
  2. Fill in the fields — the preview updates live as you type.
  3. Customise colours, dot style and logo if you want a branded look.
  4. Download a print-ready SVG or a high-resolution PNG.

Frequently asked questions

Is QRCodegener free to use?

Yes. Every tool is free with no account, no watermark, no usage cap and no hidden upgrade. Unlimited generation and high-resolution downloads are included.

Do the QR codes expire?

No. The codes are static, so the destination is built into the graphic itself. They keep working indefinitely as long as the target URL or content remains valid.

What formats can I download?

SVG for unlimited scaling and print, and PNG up to 2K resolution for screens and social. Transparent backgrounds are supported.

Is my data sent to a server?

No. Encoding happens in your browser, so URLs, WiFi passwords and contact details never leave your device.

Can I put a logo inside a QR code?

Yes. Place a logo in the centre and raise the error-correction level so the code still scans if part of the centre is covered.
